Description:
Allium cepa 'Snowball White' is a versatile and flavourful gourmet onion used in a variety of dishes all over the world. This cultivar has beautiful, large, slightly flattened globe-shaped bulbs with white paper skins and white flesh that is crisp and delicious. The dark green leaves are tall and upright and deciduous. Boil, roast, fry or raw to enhance flavor in dishes. Plant in spring for a late summer harvest. Stop watering in August and harvest when tops have wilted and turned brown. Consume immediately throughout the season or cure for storage.
