Gladiolus 'Buccaco' or "the Chocolate Gladiolus" has to be seen to be appreciated with its gentle shading of a burnt orange to brown with creamy white streaks emerging from the centre. Stunning in the mid to back of the border. Glads require little space to grow, combine well with other plants, and make excellent cut flowers. Bulbs require good drainage. Leave foliage to nourish bulb after flowering. Mulch in winter. Lift before freezing.
