Ornithogalum nutans is an ephemeral bulb with spikes of fragrant, outward-facing to slightly nodding, star-shaped flowers blooming in late spring. They are interestingly bicoloured with white and grey-green. The stems are 12-18 inches tall and last for a long time as a cut flower.
