Aeonium aureum (also known as Greenovia aurea) is a rare succulent species from the Canary Islands. In winter the rosettes tend to spread open into a flat disc like other Aeonium but in summer they tighten up forming a cluster that looks like a green rose bud. Photo: Wikipedia.
