Notes:
Agave deserti var. simplex hails from the northern part of desert agave's range in southern California and Arizona and is truly desert-adapted species. It is small to medium-sized and has silver-blue leaves. It is solitary or can make a occasional pups.

Geogrpahical Origin:
Americas - North America

Native Habitat:
Sandy flats, rocky outcrops, and gravely or rocky slopes and washes in southern California into Arizon and south into Baja California.
