Notes: Yucca rigida is a dramatic, trunk-forming, hardy species with a crown of stiff, sword-like, powder blue leaves first forming a low rosette and very slowly developing a trunk with age. White clusters of flowers rise 2-3 feet above the foliage. Resembles Y. rostrata but with much stiffer leaves. Hot sunny spots with good drainage. Photo: Wikipedia.
