Yucca brevifolia is the renowned and iconic Joshua tree of the Mojave Desert which has always been famous but entered popular culture in a big way with the release of U2's album "The Joshua Tree" in 1987. This distinctive yucca is super hardy to zone 6 but requires excellent drainage and will not take winter wet. It is a slow-growing plant but would be the pride of any succulent collection.
