Artemisia versicolor 'Sea Foam'
Common Name: Curlicue Sage Family: Asteraceae (The Aster Family)

Artemisia 'Sea Foam' is an awesome silvery textural plant for hot, sunny locations and as a small scale groundcover creating a frothy effect in rock gardens, dry gardens, and at the front of the border. It has finely dissected, curling, filigreed, white-silver, evergreen foliage on woody stems forming short, mounding plants. Occasional spikes of yellowish flowers rise on short spikes. They can be left to bloom or trimmed off to maintain a tidier appearance. Trim plants to six inches early spring to maintain a bushy habit.
