Common Name: Hydrangea Family: Hydrangaceae (The Hydrangea Family)

Hydrangea macrophylla Inspire 'H19-20' has unique, star-shaped, single or double florets with narrow petals arranged in large mopheads in shades of deep pink to lavender-blue depending on the pH of the soil. It blooms from early summer to mid-fall on both old and new wood and is an excellent option for climates where late frost may damage buds. A dense, compact shrub 40" tall and wide. Easy to care for but requires summer moisture.

Native Habitat:
Cool, moist, shaded locations in rich soils of woodlands and along hedgerows and streambanks.
