Arisaema tosaense
Common Name: Cobra Lily Family: Araceae (The Arum Family)

Notes: Arisaema tosaense is a tall, vigorous cobra lily from Shikoku Island, Japan. The green (sometimes burgundy) spathe has a long-extended tip and droops way down over the face of the tube. The translucent spathe is especially beautiful when back-lit. Easy garden plant. Late spring bloom. Geogrpahical Origin: Asia and the Pacific - Asia - China and Japan Native Habitat: Forest edges, scrub, open slopes, 1800-3500m.
