Agave scabra
Common Name: Rough Agave Family: Asparagaceae (The Asparagus Family)

Rough agave is so named because of the rough texture to the undersides of the leaves. It is closely related and similar in appearance to A. americana but hardier when obtained from high elevation areas of its range. Good winter drainage is essential.
